Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the website at retailit.nycand the Retail IT client portal, operated by Retail IT NYC LLC (“Retail IT,” “we,” “us”). By using the site or portal you agree to these terms. Inventory counting engagements are additionally governed by the service agreement signed with each client; if these terms conflict with a signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
The service
Retail IT provides physical inventory counting services for retail stores, with results delivered through an invite-only client portal that includes catalog management, count scheduling, count results, reporting, and optional POS integrations.
Accounts and access
- Portal access is by invitation. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
- Accounts belong to a client organization. Organization administrators control who in their company may access the organization’s data and at what permission level.
- You may not share accounts, probe or disrupt the service, or attempt to access another organization’s data.
Client data
Clients retain all rights to the catalogs, inventory data, and reports in their portal organization. You grant us the right to process this data solely to provide the service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Integrations
Optional integrations (such as Shopify) connect on a read-only basis using credentials you authorize. You may disconnect an integration at any time. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party platforms.
Accuracy and disclaimers
We work to deliver accurate counts and reporting, and specific accuracy commitments are set out in each client’s service agreement. The website and portal are otherwise provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Reports and analytics are provided for the client’s operational use and do not constitute financial or accounting advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retail IT’s aggregate liability arising out of the use of the website or portal is limited to the amounts paid by the client for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate portal access for breach of these terms. Clients may request export and deletion of their data when an engagement ends, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or portal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date above.
